Disgusting! $88,000 is billed to Connecticut Light & Power as they tried to help the people of Northeastern Connecticut get their power restored after Irene. Is this not just a little greedy on behalf of the Windham County Agricultural Society? Then to top that off, they have the nerve to bitch because they didn’t get their check in a timely manner. When our electric bills skyrocket, you can thank the people that run the Brooklyn Fairgrounds and the democrats that they whined to. Time to Boycott the Brookly Fair? The post it note campaign has begun, we here in Connecticut need to add in some additional notes to make others aware of the destruction that the democrats are causing our state. It seems that Connecticut restaurants and liquor stors are not happy with the democrats/Malloy proposed alcohol tax hike. Yet, we must ask ourselves how many of the establishment owners and their employees voted for Dan Malloy and the democrat super majority? They wanted it and now they all just may get it where it hurts. Already Massachusetts stores are running ads to welcome Connecticut visiters, and with a 20 percent tax hike no doubt that people will be flocking to neighboring states. As a martini drinker, a bottle of Hendricks gin cost $60.00 plus tax in CT, (this is before the 20% hike) the same bottle at Haxtons in RI, the cost is $45.00 plust tax. A gallon of gas is about .20 cheaper in RI and unlike in CT, clothing/footware over $50.00 is not taxed. Why would we want to shop in Connecticut? What would make us want to visit restaurants/bars/pubs in this state? To fund the democrats tax and spend plans? Right… Liberals, do us all a favor and stay home for the next election. FreeNorwich has been temporarily closed until further notice. It’s unfortunate that immature, ignorant, classless liberals have not a clue as to how to behave themselves. Big mistake by giving them the keys because everytime that liberal loons get their hands on the keys, they produce failure. Thanks for all you have done Rich, we will look forward to a new and improved FreeNorwich…as long as the key has been pulled from the problem.

In a recent article titled Massacre, followed by libel, Charles Krauthammer calls it like it is: “rabid partisans” on the attack.
